Tool Box for aviation maintenance and repair shops

Safety without compromise

For over 30 years, STAHLWILLE has been recognised as being a leading partner of the aerospace industry. During this time, we have gained a reputation as a capable partner and supplier who carefully examines the needs of its customers and responds accordingly. The latest result of our focus on customers' specific requirements is a toolbox for the care, maintenance and repair of Rotax aircraft engines.

The starting point for this project was our contact with Eduard Franz, Managing Director of Franz Aircraft, the authorised sales and service partner of Rotax in the German-speaking region and numerous other European countries. The idea for a new toolbox was discussed together. "It should be tailored to the needs of clubs and private owners of ultralight and small aircraft in which Rotax engines are used," explains Franz.

"The result is a specially equipped mobile tool box that contains exactly what is needed to carry out all work on aircraft engines, from minor repairs to 100-hour checks, using a suitable tool set," says Marcel Mertens, Business Development Manager for Aerospace at STAHLWILLE.

The two compact maintenance kits are mobile, well thought-out and safe and available in metric or imperial sizes for maintenance work on aircraft technology. Both versions are available in the classic metal toolbox with two drawers or in a light, shock-resistant plastic case.

Our tools are renowned for their extremely tight manufacturing tolerances and correspondingly high precision, combined with excellent wear resistance and a long service life. An absolutely essential aspect is that STAHLWILLE prevents FOD (foreign object damage) with its screwless tool design and QuickRelease locking system that secures all the extensions and tools through to the bolting point without forfeiting valuable space.

A further benefit of STAHLWILLE's tool case solution is the inlays with the TCS tool control system, featuring sculpted cut-outs with a signal colour. This allows the worker to see immediately whether all the tools have been completely stowed away again after work. All the tools are neatly arranged and instantly at hand, and always securely held in the same place.
